Cross one off my list.

Well I need to have surgery on Friday so I decided that with all I have to do to get ready I should just Forget about it and go for a picnic. After all this sergery is really screwing up my summer and so I need to live it up while I can. Cheryl and I decided to go to Silver Lake and have lunch and let the Kids fish a little. We saw a Moose, I got a picture but you'd need a magnifing glass to see it. A long time ago I decided I would do 60 new things before I turn 60 and that is only in six months. On my list of things to do was hike to Mary's Lake. Everyone says it's is beautiful and it's just a short hike. So we get this bright idea that we don't have to hurry home so lets take the kids and hike it. What no one told us is that it's stright up hill all the way. It was a short hike that went on for hours. This old fat Grandma had to stop about every 10-20 yards. Cheryl is so patient and just keeps on encouraging me so I just keep plodding away, and about an hour and a half or two hours later there we were. Of corse we had to fish a little and by then it was getting late so off we went back down the hill that only took us about 45 min. to get down. What a fun Day, and now for tomorrow.
