The Big Day for Alex

Yesterday was Alex's wedding ( which I knew was coming for at least 6 months so why was I so slow in getting things done.) Well It was a Beautiful Day for a Wedding and they looked so happy. They were Married in a little chapel in Heritage Gardens at 1:00 in the afternoon and the Reciption was later that night in Megan's parents back yard. What a gorgeous yard they have.
We had a dinner the night before the wedding at Grandpa Warren's House and It was so much fun. I got the recipe for Caf'e Rio sweet pork salad and I made that. It was awsom if I do say so myself.
Alex wore his uniform and looked so handsome and of corse the Bride was stunning. Her color's were Red and Black so the bride's maids wore black and the groomsmen and Dad's wore red vests and ties and black shirts with their tux. They had a DJ and everyone had fun dancing. It was a great party but we are happey to get it over.
Today Alex had to go to something for National Guard. We went to watch him recieve his rank or something. Any how after it was over when he told them he had only been married for 24 hours the told him well get out of here. He is now a PFC E3.
I went to the Dr. and he said I could go back to work but I told him going right from sergery to a wedding I needed another week to recover so I have until the 31st of Aug. I need to make the most of this week.
